Visiting family, I stopped by the store with my cousin who was returning an item. I was genuinely impressed by the outstanding service and the team’s willingness to go the extra mile. I want to express my gratitude and compliment the small business attitude that made a big impact on my family. My husband was heading out of town for a business trip, he needed a few new pairs of a specific designer pants he likes. We could not find his size in any of the department stores in the Short Hills Mall. I googled and called John Hyatt on the Sunday or Memorial Day weekend. Not expecting any response. I hung up when I got voicemail. I was pleasantly shocked to then get a text from the store asking if they could help. I explained the situation and they shared that they were understandably closed for Memorial Day. But then Noah continued texting, asking the specifics of what we needed. He must have checked the inventory because he then responded with exactly what was in the store. And then offered to open the store on Memorial Day just for us to come by and pick them up. I am blown away! This is the kind of personal attention and generosity of the past - thank you so much to Noah for making our lives better with an act of kindness. Thank you!

I stopped in for some needed corduroy and chino’s. I was so pleasantly surprised of the incredible service and choices of great men’s clothing. Not high pressure (like at the Mall), you felt like you were at one of those small town shopping experiences you just don't get anymore. Thomas and Marty really care and their choice of clothes is fabulous. I never write one of these reviews, just know that it’s worth the stop in. John Hyatt does it right.

Came across this establishment a couple of months ago while walking through town. Once inside we were welcomed by Tom the owner. I was immediately impressed by the reception and the superlative inventory of high quality men's wear. Tom's store is a throwback to the days of the intimate authentic men's haberdashery. A concept that has been abandoned over the years especially in today's era of impersonal cyber shopping. Tom and his staff are extremely knowledgeable of their products, always have ample inventory available and personally work with you to find the right fit and look. Too few businesses exercise that amount of caring for their clientele. Needless to say have made several purchases since first visit. You need to check this store out and support local small business.

PS, their association with a local tailor makes alterations easy and spot-on.
